Looks like we just have to play the waiting game until Pongal. With most of the biggie movies in line for the festival, one can just for the time being keep a tab on the participants coming up in that season.

And among the forerunners is our Ultimate Star’s ‘Asal’.

Directed by Saran, this Ajith-Bhavana-Sameera Reddy starrer is making a headlong way towards its completion. The movie expected for Pongal, is said to have completed 90 percent.

Recently, Asal’s dubbing schedule took off in Four Frames Preview Theatre with a simple pooja ceremony. Ajith, Saran, Arjun (Prabhu’s son), Dushyanth (Ramkumar’s son) beside other members of the movie were present there.
